Dan Noren explained “The Museum is situated
within walking distance of World leading robotic
institutes like the MIT Media Lab. Additionally,
working collaborations with NASA, Northeastern
University, Carnegie Mellon University, University
of Southern California, iRobot, Exponent and
others provide a lot of support and feature
their robots in many of our interactive exhibits.
The Classic Roamer has been one of our, and
our visitor's, long time favorites. We are
very excited about the new features and capabilities
of the Roamer- Too. The CCP staff and volunteers
will be able to leverage their experience
with the Classic Roamer to meet the unique
challenges demanded by our visitors and our
interactive displays.” |

| "When
someone enters Cahners ComputerPlace they
have to be attracted to an exhibit from a
distance. Once at the exhibit, it has to engage
and challenge but not be frustrating. Typically
a visitor will spend between3 and 10 minutes
at an exhibit and this means the visitor has
to find it intuitively simple to become involved.
The objective of CCP exhibits and activities
is to provide the visitor with a clear experience
of one or two STEM Concepts in that short
time interval." |
