Please choose one of the installation options, below.

Quick Automatic Installation (Roamer.exe - Application)
=======================================================

Install in seconds.
Most users will choose this option.

1. Extract Roamer.exe (Application Type) to any convenient
    location (e.g. your desktop).

2. Double-click the file that you extracted to install the screen saver.

3. If no error message appears and the Screen Saver configure
    dialog pops up, the Roamer screen saver is installed and
    ready for use. No other files are installed. You may now delete
    the Roamer.exe and zip files since they are not needed anymore.

    If the screensaver immediately starts, but ends when you move the
    mouse and a Screen Saver Configure dialog is not on the screen, you
    may have extracted the Roamer.scr file by mistake. Please repeat
    the instructions, extracting the file of type "Application" instead.

Notes:
    - You must have Administrative Privileges to install this
      screen saver on Windows XP and Windows 2000 systems.
    - It is usually possible to double-click the Roamer.exe file
      without extracting it from the zip, however, on XP systems,
      a restart is necessary if you do this more than once.

Manual Installation (Roamer.scr - Screen Saver)
===============================================

If you prefer not to run installers, you can manually install
the Roamer Screen Saver.

1. Extract the Roamer.scr file from the zip.

2. Put it into your <Windows> folder.

    Note: Do NOT put it into your <windows/system> or
    <windows/system32> folders - these locations are only for
    the screensavers supplied with Windows.

3. Run the Screen Saver Configure dialog by right-clicking the
    Roamer.scr file in the <windows> folder and choosing configure.

Notes:
   - Do not rename the Roamer.scr file, since this would cause problems
     if you decide to install updated versions.

   - Roamer.exe and Roamer.scr are _exactly_ the same file (they simply
     have a different file extension). Running the .exe version causes
     the built-in installer to run. Running the .scr version runs
     the screensaver without attempting to install anything.

Uninstalling/Removing
=====================

To uninstall the screensaver, delete the Roamer.scr file from
your <Windows> folder, or simply choose an alternative screen saver.
