Roamer Discovery at every Turn |
“I like Roamer because it helps me teach difficult ideas. Students like it because its fun.” |

Roamer is what Americans call Educational Technology: it is not technology education. That is using Roamer is not focussed on learning about technology (although this is a natural consequence). It is about using technology to grasp ideas and concepts. |
It has its roots in the Logo philosophy of MITs Seymour Papert. This great educator was concerned with one question: “How do children acquire knowledge?” Roamer is what he called an object to think with. By using the robot in a wide range of activities you will find your students filling up their minds with difficult ideas! |
